- 12 oz Mozzarella cheese cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian)
- 2 large Eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut mozzarella into 1-inch cubes.
- In a bowl, whisk together beaten eggs.
- In a separate shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each cheese cube in egg, then coat thoroughly in the parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
- Freeze the coated bites for 5-10 minutes to set the crust.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry bites for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drain on a wire rack and serve immediately.
