Description

A creamy garlic parmesan broccoli side topped with crispy bacon—quick to make in just 20 minutes. It’s buttery, garlicky and utterly comforting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 6 oz bacon, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Dice the bacon into bite‑sized pieces and set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until golden and crispy, about 4–5 minutes.
  3. Remove excess grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon of rendered fat in the pan.
  4. Add the butter, then toss in minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer and add the broccoli.
  6. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is tender yet bright green, about 6–7 minutes.
  7. Stir in grated Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and the crispy bacon.
  8. Season with salt and cracked black pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
