- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 6 oz bacon, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Dice the bacon into bite‑sized pieces and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until golden and crispy, about 4–5 minutes.
- Remove excess grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon of rendered fat in the pan.
- Add the butter, then toss in minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer and add the broccoli.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is tender yet bright green, about 6–7 minutes.
- Stir in grated Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and the crispy bacon.
- Season with salt and cracked black pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
