A buttery, crisp Halloween cookie sculpted to look like witch fingers, complete with almond nails for a realistic, spooky effect.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 24 whole almonds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Slowly stir in the flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough into small cylinders and shape them into fingers with tapered tips.
- Use a toothpick or finger to press knuckle lines into the dough.
- Press one whole almond into the tip of each finger.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until bottoms are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool completely on the pan.
