- 12 oz lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/sausage)
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a greased sheet pan, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Layer uncooked lasagna noodles, half of the meat mixture, dollops of ricotta, and shredded mozzarella.
- Repeat layering with remaining noodles, meat mixture, ricotta dollops, and mozzarella. Top with remaining marinara sauce and grated Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing into squares; serve warm.
