- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Combine ground pork, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp minced ginger, and 1 clove minced garlic in a bowl; stir until tacky.
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of a wrapper, dampen edges, fold into a triangle, and pinch corners to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté remaining ginger and garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Carefully drop wontons into the broth and cook until they float to the surface (about 3-5 minutes).
- Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil.
