- 2 lbs flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain into thin strips.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Place the beef strips into the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them, stirring to coat.
- Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry; stir into the slow cooker 30 minutes before finishing.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
