- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8–12 taco shells or tortillas
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it into crumbles until fully cooked.
- Drain the excess fat from the skillet, leaving about a tablespoon of oil.
- Stir in the cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper; cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, mash together the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and chives.
- Lower the heat to medium-low and stir the herb butter into the beef until completely melted.
- Simmer for 3 additional minutes on low heat to allow flavors to meld.
- Spoon the beef into warmed taco shells and add preferred toppings.
