Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 lb boneless turkey breast, skin-on
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh sage, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

- In a small bowl, mash together the softened butter, minced garlic, sage, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pat the turkey breast completely dry using paper towels.
- Carefully separate the skin from the meat using your fingers, creating a pocket. Stuff half of the herb butter directly onto the meat.
- Rub the remaining herb butter all over the outside of the turkey skin.
- Rub the skin with olive oil and place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Roast for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, or until a meat thermometer reaches 165°F in the thickest part.
- Remove from the oven and let the meat rest on a carving board for 20 minutes before slicing.
