Description

A nostalgic, layered dessert featuring a salty pretzel crust, a sweet cream cheese filling, and a fresh strawberry gelatin topping.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 package strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups fresh sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine crushed pretzels and melted butter; press into 9×13 pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese and pudding mix with milk until smooth.
  5. Spread cream mixture over cooled crust and refrigerate.
  6. Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the cream layer.
  7. Prepare strawberry gelatin with boiling water and pour over strawberries.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
