Description

Flaky white fish fillets baked with a fragrant blend of fresh herbs and topped with a zesty, rich lemon butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 white fish fillets (6oz each, such as Cod or Halibut)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F and lightly grease a baking dish with oil or butter.
  2. Pat the fish fillets completely dry using paper towels to ensure they roast properly.
  3. Season both sides of the fillets with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, and thyme.
  5. Place the fillets in the prepared baking dish and spoon the lemon butter mixture evenly over the top of each piece.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the fish rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
