- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F and grease a donut pan.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pipe batter into donut molds, filling them two-thirds full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Whisk powdered sugar and maple syrup to create a thick glaze.
- Dip the top of cooled donuts into the glaze and set to dry.
