Ingredients

  • 1 cup (200g) Orzo pasta
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Olive oil
  • 2 cloves, minced Garlic
  • ¼ cup (25g) Grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup, chopped Fresh parsley or basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sauté minced garlic until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Stir in fresh lemon juice into the skillet and mix well.
  4. Toss the cooked orzo into the skillet, ensuring it’s evenly coated with the lemon-garlic mixture.
  5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and chopped herbs; mix until cheese melts slightly.
