Description

Savory beef meatballs slow-cooked in a sticky, sweet, and tangy pineapple glaze. A perfect balance of tropical flavors and deep umami.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (24 oz) frozen beef meatballs
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice (reserved from can)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and apple cider vinegar until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Place the frozen beef meatballs into the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
  3. Pour the prepared glaze over the meatballs, stirring gently to ensure every meatball is coated.
  4. Gently fold in the pineapple chunks, distributing them evenly throughout the pot.
  5. Cover with a lid and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
  6. Optional: For a professional finish, transfer meatballs to a hot skillet for 5 minutes to caramelize the exterior before serving.
