Description
A succulent, melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork infused with the sweet and tangy flavors of pineapple and soy. Perfectly slow-cooked for maximum tenderness.

- 4 lb pork shoulder (pork butt)
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Sear the pork shoulder in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
- Whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and vinegar in a bowl.
- Place the seared pork in the slow cooker and pour the marinade over it.
- Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4-5 hours until tender.
- Remove pork to a plate and shred using two forks, discarding excess fat.
- Simmer the remaining pot liquid in a saucepan for 10 minutes until reduced by half.
- Toss the shredded pork with the reduced glaze and serve.
