Description

A Southern-inspired twist on the classic Sloppy Joe, featuring tender ground beef slow-cooked with butter and tangy pepperoncinis for a rich, savory flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked.
  2. Drain the excess grease from the skillet and transfer the beef to the slow cooker.
  3. Stir in the brown sugar, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Top the beef with butter cubes, sliced pepperoncinis, and pepperoncini juice.
