Description
Pillowy soft dinner rolls made with an enriched dough and finished with a savory garlic and fresh herb butter glaze.

- 3 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1 cup warm milk (110F)
- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for glaze)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
Instructions
- Combine warm milk, honey, and yeast in a large bowl. Let stand for 10 minutes until foamy.
- Stir in the 4 tablespoons of melted butter and salt.
- Gradually mix in bread flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into balls and place in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cover and let rise again for 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375F (190C). Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and rosemary together.
- Brush the herb butter generously over the rolls immediately after removing them from the oven.
