Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 6–8 pitted black olives

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a pot and cover with an inch of water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 10 minutes, then peel carefully.
  3. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks into a bowl.
  4. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.
  5. Stir in mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until the filling is creamy.
  6. Pipe the mixture into the egg white cavities using a star tip.
  7. Slice olives to create a body (half lengthwise) and legs (thin strips).
  8. Assemble the spider on the olive body and place on top of each egg.
  9. Garnish with a dusting of paprika.
