- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 24 chocolate kisses or chips
- 1/2 cup chocolate frosting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter and peanut butter until fluffy.
- Beat in both sugars until well combined.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the flour and baking soda until a dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are just set.
- Immediately press one chocolate kiss or chip into the center of each cookie.
- Allow cookies to cool completely.
- Pipe eight legs around the chocolate center using chocolate frosting.
