  • 1 lb ground venison
  • 1 cup lasagna noodles (broken into pieces)
  • 28 oz can high-quality tomato sauce
  • 4 cups beef broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 bell pepper (chopped)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add ground venison to the pot and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in chopped bell peppers, tomato sauce, broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
