  • 34 lb Chuck Roast
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix (1 oz)
  • 1 packet Au Jus Gravy Mix (1 oz)
  • 6 Pepperoncini Peppers, whole
  • 1 cup Low-Sodium Beef Broth
  • 2 Carrots, sliced
  • 1 large Onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing the onions and carrots into even pieces.
  2. Rub the chuck roast with ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix on all sides.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the roast for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Place the seared roast in a slow cooker. Surround it with sliced onions and carrots, then pour in the beef broth. Top with pepperoncini peppers.
  5. Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or until the meat is fork-tender.
  6. Shred the meat in the slow cooker using two forks and serve hot over mashed potatoes or with crusty bread.
